Gifted Car
The photo below was taken at Family Promise of the first Gifted Car we have received through Recycled Rides, a program to help families in need receive a much needed car. It was presented to a former family member Juwan on October 30th.

Monster Mini Golf
At the Monster Mini-golf, a great time was had by all attending, costumes were very creative and the Confirmation class at Zion United Lutheran Church was voted the Best Halloween Decorated Hole.

Justin Smigley, a recent Stroudsburg HS graduate had an idea to raise money for the HS student body, something they would enjoy (a dress down day).

In return, the students gave back to Family Promise of Monroe County, a local shelter program that strives to improve the lives of families in our community.

Pictured left to right-Justin Smigley presenting a $1000 check to Lisa Day, FP Case Manager and Laurie Kozar, Board President.

Also a special thank you was given to the coordinators of our host and support churches who make our mission possible and two outstanding Board members for their time and commitment to the program, Laurie Kozar and Faith Waters-Kimes.
